“When I was contacted by my tenants to say that they had a leak in their bathroom my heart sank. It meant that I would have to take time out of my day to go and see them, ascertain the problem, get whatever bits were required to fix it and then actually do the job. Judging by the skill level I usually bring to the plumbing table, it inevitably meant that I would be returning at least once to put something right that wasn't done properly in the first place. In short, not a task I was looking forward to.Cue Hammond's super plumber; I made one phonecall to Geoff, gave him the details of the property and a synopsys of the problem. Then I went away and got on with my day. The very next thing I knew, Geoff had sorted the problem, furnished the house with a new tap, ensured that it didn't leak and generally placated my tenants. All of this and on a Saturday as well.
The potential stream of phonecalls and emails didn't happen as it usually does when I undertake to do something for my tenants. “Geoff recently completed some work to create a proper utility room for us. It was not an easy job from the out-set. The house is over 100 years old and has all the problems associated with a house of this age, no straight walls and alterations that have been done over the yeasr in a 'non standard way'. The outside wall proved not to be of brick as we had expected but solid concrete, so it was not so straightforward to punch a hole through it.
Geoff did a fantastic job and accomodated our many changes of plan. He always left the place clean and tidy and we are now the proud owners of a new downstairs toilet, a functioning washing machine for the first time in months and a lovely new double sink.

“I rang Geoff late last Wednesday after discovering our boiler was leaking. Although the fault was not completely terminal, it seemed to me it was touch and go given the dropping water pressure.
However I give many thanks to Geoff for fitting us in to his hectic schedule after being on site all day and coming round late on Friday to resolve our sick boiler.
